GUIDELINES FOR
PRESENTATIONS
ORAL PRESENTATIONS:
Oral presentations are expected to last no more than
15 min, followed by 5 min discussion.
A PC computer, LCD projector and flipchart will be
available for the presentations. Presentations should be
in MS Power Point (2003 or lower) format, preferably on a CD or USB
Flash media. Other modes of presentation must to be
noted in advance.
Presentations must be submitted to the ECI XII Office at
least 24 hours before the beginning of the session.
Please note that Macintosh hardware or software WILL NOT
BE AVAILABLE.
Oral presentations will be held in the four congress
halls: RAGUSA, BOBARA, ORLANDO and LIBERTAS. All halls
are located in Hotel Croatia: Ragusa and Orlando on the
main floor, Libertas on the third floor and Bobara on
the fifth floor.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS:
Maximum poster size: 130 cm
high and 90 cm wide.
The posters will be set up in the QUIET SALON, on the
third floor of Hotel Croatia.
Please submit your posters to the technical staff upon
registration. They will ensure they are installed on the
stands. Posters will be on display until Thursday 13
September. After the closing ceremony, you can take your
poster.
The ECI XII OFFICE
will be located on the fifth floor of Hotel Croatia, in
Salon V. Working hours are from 8 am to 8 pm.
REGISTRATION will be open on Friday 7
September (noon to 10 pm) and Saturday 8 September
and Sunday 9 September (from 8 am to 10 pm) in Hotel
Croatia. Payment for all excursions and
outstanding fees must be made upon registration,
according to the invoice received.
Please be sure to bring
your confirmation of registration letter with you.
Payment is only possible in EUROS and Croatian KUNAS.
There is an exchange office in
the airport, hotel and throughout Cavtat.
If you have paid your registration fees and have not yet
received the letter of confirmation of registration from
the organizers, please contact the Congress Secretary at
ecixii@biol.pmf.hr as soon as possible!
